NSBM Faculty of Computing, in collaboration with NFORCE, orchestrated IT ENTREPRENEURS’ DAY 2024, which featured a series of guest lectures aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and enhancing knowledge about the IT ecosystem in Sri Lanka among computing students. The event, held on the 9th of February 2024 at the faculty premises, witnessed the convergence of prominent figures from the industry.

The occasion was graced by the Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr Chaminda Wijesinghe, Academic staff of the faculty and Representatives from the industry.

IT ENTREPRENEURS’ DAY 2024 featured sessions led by Mr. Lal Chandranath, Former Managing Director of DMS Electronics & DMS Software, Mr. Mohamed Jaseem, an Eco System Builder from ICTA Sri Lanka, Mr. Dinushka Medagoda, Managing Partner at E Law Chambers.

Moreover, the event showcased the success stories of NSBM alumni entrepreneurs. Mr. Prageeth Rajpaksha, CEO of Icon I/O Pvt Ltd, Mr. Sachintha Nanayakkara, CEO of Techscrolll Pvt Ltd, and Mr. Ishanka T Seneviratne, CEO of Codzilla Pvt Ltd, shared their experiences, challenges, and triumphs in building successful ventures.
