My journey began at the National School of Business Management (NSBM) in Sri Lanka, where I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science in December 2016. NSBM provided a strong foundation that has propelled me forward in my academic and professional journeys.

Today, I’m thriving as an SAP Consultant at Rizing, contributing to high-impact global projects for renowned brands in fashion, lifestyle, retail, and manufacturing. NSBM didn’t just educate me; it empowered me. 

I am a proud alumnus of NSBM, where I completed my Bachelor of Computer Science degree as a part of the 15.1 batch. NSBM Green University is an excellent institution that provides a comprehensive and rigorous education in many fields, as well as a supportive and inspiring environment for students.

The education I received at NSBM has been transformative, preparing me to excel in a dynamic and competitive industry. I wholeheartedly recommend NSBM to anyone seeking a program that bridges theory and practice while fostering both professional and personal growth.

NSBM Green University has played a pivotal role in shaping my academic achievements as well as my personal growth and development. The experiences, opportunities, and knowledge I gained here have been instrumental in preparing me for my future endeavors.  

Being recognized as the valedictorian and receiving awards such as the Virtusa Gold Award for Overall Best Performance are testaments to the exceptional opportunities and environment NSBM Green University provides.    

At NSBM we got an opportunity to meet industry leaders at the NSBM career fair and I am proud to say, I managed to attain my first internship at an industry-leading company in IT services on the spot, which led to the employment opportunity at a multinational ERP software company.  

One of the most rewarding aspects of my time at NSBM was the opportunity to give back to the community through CSR projects. I participated in various initiatives that helped those in need, and these experiences helped instill in me a strong sense of social responsibility.  

The exceptional group of lecturers at NSBM played a pivotal role in my education. Their dedication to our success went beyond classroom instruction.  

The support I received from NSBM for my entrepreneurial journey was invaluable. The university provided me with the necessary infrastructure, guidance, and access to an incredible network of talented individuals who eventually became key members of my startup team.  

NSBM has been the cornerstone of my personal and professional development. It empowered me to speak confidently, present effectively, and demonstrate my fullest potential.  

NSBM was more than just an educational institution—it was a home where I found a family among my peers, academic staff, and friends. It’s a place where we learned, shared ideas, and collaborated, making the journey far more meaningful than simply attending lectures and going back home. 

NSBM truly shaped me into the person I am today, providing not only academic knowledge but also valuable life skills and professional connections. I am incredibly grateful to be an alumnus of such a transformative institution that has played a pivotal role in my personal and career growth.   

With the strong foundation that NSBM provided me through the Management Information Systems bachelor program, I could rapidly adapt to the industry standards and improve myself to the position I am currently in with countless knowledge in the Software Quality Assurance field.   

The emphasis on real-world applications and soft skills prepared me to excel in various roles, from business analysis to introducing innovative practices in organizations like LSEG and DirectFN.The supportive faculty and hands-on learning experiences gave me the confidence to take on challenges and contribute meaningfully to my teams.
