Building a platform for intellectual discussion on innovative concepts to forge forth in the construction industry amidst adversities, the Department of Design Studies of NSBM Green University, held “Design Talk”, the industry knowledge-sharing session under the theme “Beyond Adversities”. The session was held on 8th September 2022 at NSBM Auditorium.

“Design Talk” brought together an esteemed panel of leading professionals who shared their best insights with NSBM design enthusiasts on the innovative concepts of the Design industry and its way through adversities. The panel consisted of Dr Milinda Pathiraja, Director, Partner and Co-founder of Robust Architect Workshop (RAW), Archt. Russel Dandeniya, President of Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and Archt. Sumudu Athukorala, Architect and Author.

The session was graced by the presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the faculties, Heads of the Department of Design Studies, Ms Upeksha Hettithanthri and fellow academics of the Department academics.
