The Department of Health Sciences offers a dynamic learning environment for aspiring healthcare professionals. The department offers cutting-edge education with the latest knowledge in the field of Nursing and Psychology through two esteemed programs: B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing and B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology offered by the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom.
For future nurses, the program goes beyond academics. The Nursing Degree Program integrates theory with hands-on experience through practical sessions, clinical training, and skill development workshops from the first year to their final year. This comprehensive approach ensures you graduate with the confidence and practical skills to thrive in the healthcare field.
The B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology offers a unique blend of academic rigor, clinical observations, and internships on different psychological matters. You’ll gain invaluable insights through clinical observations, preparing you for further studies or a career in mental health.

The Department of Health Sciences is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals. We offer a dynamic and stimulating learning environment that combines rigorous academics with practical experience.
We design our programs, such as the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing, the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing Top-Up Degree, and the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology, to provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in your chosen field. Students who completed their Ordinary Level Exams in the Local and International Syllabus can join our Foundation Program to enter NSBM’s Bachelor of Science degree programs. Through a blend of theoretical coursework, clinical training, and hands-on experiences, we prepare our students for successful careers in healthcare.
Beyond the classroom, we foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and continuous learning. Our department actively engages in research projects and hosts workshops to stimulate critical thinking and innovation. We also believe in the importance of global exposure.
