The Department of Accounting & Finance successfully organized a field visit to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on 27th and 31st January 2025 for our Year 1 Accounting & Finance students. This visit aimed to provide practical insights into investing in financial assets—a crucial strategy for combating inflation and building financial stability.

We had the privilege of participating in an insightful session led by Mr. Ganisuru Wijesekara, Mr. Pasindu Wijemanna, and Mr. Sachinthana from the CSE Academy. Their expertise on financial markets and investment strategies helped transform our students’ perspectives, sparking a newfound interest in smart investing.
