Day 2 of the Orientation Programme for the July 2024 Intake unfolded under the inspiring theme “Unlock Your Potential,” focusing on enriching students’ university experiences through a series of sessions dedicated to various aspects of student life, personal development, and extracurricular engagement.

 

The day featured sessions led by the Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Chandana Perera; Head of Student Affairs, Ms. Aushadarie Kaushalya; Head of the Department of Software Engineering, Dr Mohomad Shafraz, and senior academic staff members of NSBM.

 

A special session for foundation students on “Living in Digital Era” was delivered by Senior DIG of Police (Rtd.), Mr. Priyantha Jayakody.

 

The programme also featured engaging performances by NSBM’s Music Club, Dancing Club, and Drama Club. Additionally, new students had the opportunity to register for over 50 clubs and societies available on campus, encouraging their active participation in the unparalleled student life at NSBM.
