NSBM Green University -“CSR DAY 2020” was successfully held on 18 August 2020. This event was organized by the batch 19.2, as a requirement for their Project Management module.

CSR day included a series of activities:

• A Blood Donation Camp which successfully collected 130 points of blood from 180 participants of NSBM students, staff and the well-wishing donors from Pitipana, Homagama area

• An eyewear donation Campaign that distributed spectacles for the people who are in need.

• An ayurvedic Campaign which gave away Ayurvedic oils. Around 100 people participated in the eyewear donation campaign and in the ayurvedic campaign to receive required checkups and donations.

Along with these donation campaigns, students distributed dry rations for underprivileged families in the Homagama Area. The NSBM CSR day successfully ended with the distribution of Sports equipment to Pitipana Maha Vidyalaya and donation of four Televisions to Pitipana Primary School. These distributions and donations took place with the participation of respective school principals.
