NSBM Green University, the nation’s premier degree awarding institute, marked the beginning of the NSBM Convocation Week 2021 today, 25th January 2022. This ceremonial conferment of degrees for the Class of 2021 will be held with glory across four days until 28th January 2022 and split into 15 sessions.

On the Day 1 of this glorious celebratory week, nearly 450 students who completed UGC approved NSBM BSc in Business Management, BA in Business Communication and BM (Honours) in Accounting & Finance degree programmes under the Faculty of Business were conferred in much grandiose under three sessions.

The first three sessions of Day 1 were graced with the honorary presence of Professor in Management and Former Director and the Chairman of the Board of Management, PIM, Prof Ajantha Dharmasiri, the Chairman of George Steuart Group, Mr Dilith Jayaweera and the CEO of CYLN and Director of BRAND PARTNERS PLC, Mr Sumit Law as the chief guests and other distinguished dignitaries.

The session was further glamoured by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, Prof E A Weerasinghe, Head of Academic and Quality Assurance, Prof Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans, Academics, Parents and well-wishers.

Mr Charuka Kothalawala was awarded as the Overall Best Performer of the Faculty of Business UGC approved NSBM degree programmes and Best Performer for NSBM BSc in Business Management (Industrial Management) (Special) degree programme.
