Department of Accounting and Finance of NSBM Green University hosted “College to Corporate” workshop recently in partnership with the ACCA Institute. The workshop was specifically designed for the undergraduates of the Department of Accounting and Finance and provided significant value and insights which would help them seamlessly transition from college life to the corporate world.  

“College to Corporate” workshop was conducted by Ms. Thushanee Illangakoon, an industry expert who possesses two decades of experience in the Apparel and Telcom industries, with trailblazing achievements both locally and internationally. The event was also graced by Mr. Chaaminda Kumarasiri, Vice Chairman of ACCA Sri Lanka Member Network Panel. 

Overall, the workshop was conducted to improve the understanding of corporate life for students, to provide insights into avid common faux pax and to increase the confidence of students to take their first step into corporate life and make it perfect.
