NSBM Green University had the honor of hosting Dr. Samitha Karunarathne, a top project leader in Asia on 28th of March 2024. The visit, facilitated by the Faculty of Business under the guidance of the Dean – Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, offered a unique opportunity for the academics and students to expand the understanding of the critical issues surrounding climate change.

Dr. Karunarathne delivered an insightful session on “Cities and Climate Change” which inspired the audience to explore innovative approaches and solutions in their respective fields of study and research. This invaluable session was graced by academics from all faculties and students from sustainability-related clubs and societies functioning at the university.
