Awada’2025, the annual gathering of the Student Circle of Accounting and Finance (SCAF), a remarkable evening was held on 24th of January 2025 at NSBM Student Center. This gathering brought together the current and former boards of SCAF for an evening filled with warmth, camaraderie and shared experiences. Graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Thilini de Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business; Ms. Anne Pathiranage, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance; Ms. Rhythmani Perera, Lecturer-In-Charge of SCAF; and other respected department lecturers, the evening truly celebrated the spirit of unity and collaboration.

The evening came alive with vibrant singing, dancing, and drama performances by the talented current SCAF board, creating an atmosphere of joy and entertainment. An interactive session further strengthened bonds and encouraged networking between the boards. A special highlight was the live hoppers station organized by the current SCAF board, offering delightful refreshments and adding a unique touch to the gathering. Furthermore, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the NSBM Music Club and NSBM Media club for their incredible support, which added an extra spark to the evening. Awada’2025 will undoubtedly remain a cherished memory for all who attended, marking another milestone in the legacy of SCAF!
