For the 6th consecutive year, the Association of Business Management in the Faculty of Business hosted the Inter Batch Academic Decathlon (IBAD’24) Grand Finale on August 12th, 2024. The event aimed to identify the ‘Best Batch of the Faculty of Business’, following two prior rounds that tested academic, professional, and creative competencies.

 

The grand finale also featured the Merit Awards, honoring the Best Students from each department of the Faculty of Business. The event concluded on a high note with the team representing BSc (Hons) International Management and Business (University of Plymouth Batch 11) securing the title of ‘Best Batch of the Faculty of Business’, and BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance (University of Plymouth Batch 11) as the Runners-up.

 

The occasion was honoured by the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, the Head of the Department of Management and MIC of the Association of Business Management, Ms. Bhasuri Amarathunge, the Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Ms. Anne Pathiranage, the Head of Student Affairs, Ms. Aushadarie Kaushalya, and an esteemed alumnus of NSBM and a seasoned HR professional based in Canada, Mr. Sachin Rodrigo, along with other distinguished academics and students.
