The Annual General Meeting of the NSBM Chess Club marked a significant moment. The event commenced with heartfelt gratitude extended to the club’s Lecturers in Charge, Mr. Chamil Gunaratne and Ms. Thamodya Ediriweera, whose mentorship continues to inspire both the leadership team and the members to strive for excellence.

The key highlight of the Annual General Meeting was the announcement of the new leadership team for 2025. The newly elected President – Yenuli Bawanya, Vice President – Malindu Wickramasinghe, Boys Teams Captain – Kaveen Weerasena, and Girls Teams Captain – Yenuli Bawanya and other committee members were introduced, each bringing unique strengths to take the club forward. Their vision promises to sustain the club’s legacy and innovation and community spirit.
