AIESEC in NSBM’s flagship career guidance event, SteerX, recently concluded its second edition on 04th April 2024, equipping 200+ NSBM undergraduates with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the crucial transition from campus to career.
Focused on the theme of “Structured Problem Solving,” SteerX 2.0 bridged the gap between academics and the professional sphere through interactive sessions with industry experts. The event was graced by prominent figures, including Mr. Sanjaya Bandara, former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), who delivered a keynote speech and shared valuable insights.
Distinguished guests, Mr. Suneth Chithrananda, Mr. Gaminda Priyaviraj, and Mr. Dumidu Ranaweera from SSMI Asia, led an insightful session on “Structured Problem Solving.” Their session provided valuable insights and techniques for tackling real-world challenges and moving forward with confidence.
The event was further enriched by the presence of the Lecturers in Charge of AIESEC in NSBM, Ms. Gimhani Rangalla and Ms. Dilki Hansika, alongside lecturers from the Faculty of Business: Ms. Maneesha Dias, Mr. Hasantha Dissanayake, Mr. Kulandaivel Sachin, Mr. Rushdi Hadhi – Manager, NSBM Career Guidance Unit, and Mr. Chathura Sembukuttiarachchi – Admin Officer, NSBM Marketing Division.
