The vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E A Weerasinghe and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake commenced work ceremoniously along with his talented and vibrant team of academics and non-academics on the blissful morning of the 1st of January 2020. The staff of NSBM renewed their vows to ensure the best of work ethics as a state sector personnel and commenced duties with their usual vigor and drive with the objective of serving the nation to transform Sri Lanka to the heights of glory. Solidifying an ascending nation, driven by knowledge, and empowered by education.
Parallel with the celebrations a tree-planting ceremony was also organized at the university premises promoting positive green initiatives all around. Thus, 2020 comes to NSBM amidst joy, bliss, and positive energy and will surely be yet another year to remember many a milestone of glory and victory.
