A team of students at the Faculty of Computing conducted a CSR Project in Padukka, at the Weragala Sri Gunawimala School to provide its students clean drinking water and a renovated space for their English Activity Room.

This project was initiated in partial fulfillment of an NSBM undergrads’ CSR commitment, during their tenor at the university. This timely project was implemented under the supervision of Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Dean – Faculty of Computing, Dr.Rasika Ranaweera and Lecturer-in-Charge, Ms.Pavithra Subhashini.

The project was a resounding success and gained ample praise by the Principal, staff, and parents of the school.
The program was developed to improve the essential soft skills valued by employers, enabling the smooth transition from academia to industrial life for our undergraduates.
