Ms Samithri Akushla Wanniachy graduated from Staffordshire University in 2016 with a honours degree in Bachelor of Laws and joined Sri Lanka Law College for her professional studies. She was called to the Bar in 2019 as an Attorney-at-law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. She completed her Masters of Law in International Commercial and Business Law from University of West London. She has also completed a diploma in Diplomacy and World Affairs at Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute (BIDTI) and completed an Advanced certificate course in Human Resource Management at Human Resource Management Institute. Prior to becoming an academic, Ms Wanniachy was a legal practitioner specialized in Commercial Law. She has also worked as a visiting lecturer for nearly 3 years at a private university affiliated to a UK university in Sri Lanka prior to joining NSBM. She is currently attached to the Department of Legal Studies at the Faculty of Business of NSBM Green University.
