Ms. Tharushi Piyumalee is currently serving as a Temporary Lecturer attached to the Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University. She has obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Business Economics) (Special) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a first class, while maintaining an overall GPA value of 3.96 out of 4.00. She ranked 11th in the island and 04th in the Colombo District at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in the Commerce stream in 2015. She was awarded the Challenge Trophy for the best results (Commerce Stream) at St. Paul’s Girls’ School, Milagiriya, having scored the highest marks for Economics and Business Studies. In addition to her accomplishments, she has completed a Diploma in Applied Banking and Finance, which was conducted by the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and she was awarded the Cash Prize for the highest marks for Principles of Economics in Intermediate in Applied Banking and Finance in September 2018.
