Mr. Saravanapavan Nasiketha is a Senior Lecturer of School of Computing at NSBM and he has joined NSBM after 7 years of service at NIBM. He started his career at NIBM as a Consultant / Lecturer and worked in several Regional centers like Jaffna, Kurunegala and Kandy. During his service he was actively involved in marketing project Supervisions and some special event coordinating in addition to his main responsibility – lecturing. Prior to that he had been employed at University of Jaffna (Vavuniya campus) as instructor/Demonstrator.
His interest in teaching is focused on the area of Database Systems & web development. Specially he is interested in teaching Database Management systems, Data warehouse and data Mining, Web Application development. He has obtained his basic degree, Bachelor of computer science from Bharathidasan university, India. Then he has completed Master of computer application from Anna university, Chennai, India during the period he has done the final year project with compact vehicle research and development establishment (CVRDE-Avadi), India. Due to his interest in management studies he has completed Master of Business Administration (MBA) at University of Colombo, Faculty of Management Finance.
