A special personal and professional grooming workshop for the newly appointed officials of the Students Circle of Accounting & Finance (SCAF), organised by the Department of Accounting and Finance in collaboration with its student community, on 14th September 2022 from 9 a.m onwards.

The main intention of the workshop was to develop a range of soft skills for young leaders. It opens a path for young leaders to grow and thrive on personal and professional goals. Most importantly, to become exemplary leaders and guide the entire student community.

The first segment of the workshop focused on students’ language enhancement, facilitated by Ms Fairoza Fairooz, representing the Department of English and Modern Languages, and the second segment of the workshop focused on developing a range of soft skills of young undergraduates, emphasising team building, self-initiation, and stress management, conducted by the Senior Students Counsellor, Mr Prasanna Perera.
