The first-ever batch of NSBM offered engineering degrees in the fields of Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering graduated amidst a grand celebration in Session 09 of NSBM Convocation Week 2022.

This highly skilled and competent batch of NSBM engineering graduates who are fully qualified to conquer the modern industrial world convocated in the distinguished presence of Hon. Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha.

Conferment of graduates was done by Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, in the presence of Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic and Quality Assurance of NSBM, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, distinguished dignitaries, Academics, Parents and well-wishers.

Mr. Yasiru Nimanka Jayathilaka was awarded the Gold medal for being the Overall Best Performer of Faculty of Engineering UGC-approved degrees and received the award for Best performer of BSc Engineering (Hons) in Mechatronic Engineering degree was Mr. Yasiru Nimanka Jayathilaka.

Moreover, Mr. Anushka Sandeepa received the award for the “Best Performer” in BSc Engineering (Hons) in Computer System Engineering degree and Mr. Deepanjan Dewantha became the Best Performer of BSc Engineering (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
