The NSBM Rugby Team has claimed victory at the Sabra Super 7s Rugby Tournament 2025, held on March 8th at Sabaragamuwa University! Competing against top university teams from across Sri Lanka, NSBM remained undefeated, delivering an unstoppable performance throughout the tournament.
In the semi-finals, NSBM secured a dominant win over the University of Colombo, and in a thrilling final showdown, they clinched the title with a 17-12 victory against Sabaragamuwa University!
The tournament brought together some of Sri Lanka’s best university rugby teams, including University of Colombo, University of Kelaniya, University of Peradeniya, University of Moratuwa, University of Uva Wellassa, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Open University of Sri Lanka, SLIIT, Ocean University of Sri Lanka, SLTC, and the host, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Each team displayed remarkable skill and sportsmanship, making the tournament an exciting battle for the title.
