The IEEE NSBM Student Branch kicked off new term for 2025 with its Annual General Meeting, setting the stage for another year of innovation and success. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Prof. Shanmuganathan Vasanthapriyan, Chair of IEEE Sri Lanka Section, whose visionary leadership has been pivotal in advancing technological innovation and empowering aspiring engineers across Sri Lanka.

Also present were Dr. Prabhani Liyanage, Chair of IEEE WIE Sri Lanka Section, a staunch advocate for women in engineering, and Mr. Manodya Nabadawewa, Chair of Student Activities, IEEE Sri Lanka Section, who continues to champion and elevate student-led initiatives. The meeting was further honored by the participation of Prof. Chaminda Wijesinghe, Mr. Gayan Perera, Ms. Kawmadi Samarakoon and esteemed NSBM Lecturers.

With the induction of the new executive committee, the committee look forward to an exciting year ahead filled with impactful projects, technical advancements, and opportunities for growth, driving IEEE NSBM towards greater success.
