The Circle for Cloud and Cyber Innovation (CCCI) of NSBM Green University successfully hosted TechVentures Vol.1 on February 5th at Faculty of Computing premises. The event marked the first episode of a workshop series designed to help NSBM students stay informed and up to date with the latest technological advancements.
The inaugural session, a panel discussion, offered in-depth insights into the cybersecurity ecosystem, highlighting industry trends, the latest tools, and key legal frameworks. The expert panel featured, Mr. Dayalan Nagaratnam – Director, ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter & Head of Cyber Security Practices at Connex Information Technologies; Mr. Rohan Samaraweera – Cheif Technical Officer at Connex Information Technologies; Mr. Kushanga Sandeepa – Lead Engineer, Network & Security at Connex Information Technologies; and Mr. Yasiru Perera – Lead Engineer, Systems & Security at Connex Information Technologies.
The event was graced by Prof. Chaminda Wijesinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Mr. Chamara Dissanayaka, Head of the Network and Security Department, Mr. Gayan Perera, Master in Charge of CCCI, along with other esteemed faculty and staff.
