The inauguration ceremony for the third batch of the PhD in Management program at NSBM Green University took place on November 24, 2024, at the NSBM Green Boardroom. The event marked a significant milestone in NSBM’s ongoing dedication to fostering academic excellence and advancing research in the field of management.
The ceremony featured the formal introduction of the PhD program, alongside a Supervisor Allocation session, where the distinguished professors were introduced to their respective PhD candidates, establishing the foundation for their academic journey. Adding a thought-provoking dimension to the event was the Round Table Discussion on the PhD Journey, which brought together a panel of prominent academics that included: Prof. Sumadi Samaraweera, Professor in Economics at University of Sabaragamuwa; Prof. Yogarajah Nanthagopan, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya; Prof. Suranjan Priyanath, Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Sabaragamuwa and Dr. W. D. N. S. M. Tennakoon, Head of Department, Department of Business Management, Wayamba University.
