NSBM undergraduates of the BA in Business Communication degree program – Batch 22.2/23.1 had the incredible opportunity to visit Nagarro, at their hive in Trace City, Colombo. This visit, organized as part of the Business Ethics module, offered students an invaluable chance to gain real-world insights into the ethical dimensions of modern business.
The sessions were led by industry professionals and covered key topics: Understanding Business Landscape and Stakeholders by Mr. Asanka Alwis; Ethical Issues in Firm-Employee Relationships and Assessing Ethical Performance by Mr. Roshan Chandraguptha and Corporate Social Responsibility by Ms. Vajra Fonseka
These highly interactive and thought-provoking sessions allowed students to explore how ethical considerations shape stakeholder relationships, influence corporate behaviour, and drive social responsibility initiatives. The knowledge shared by Nagarro’s team will be directly integrated into the students’ coursework, deepening their understanding of business ethics.
This visit was a fantastic opportunity for our students to enhance their academic learning with practical, real-world experiences, reinforcing their skills and preparing them for future industry challenges.
