NSBM Green University hosted a special ceremony to mark its 8th year milestone that brought together the entire staff in a spirit of unity and reflection. The event, held at the university auditorium, was a true celebration of the NSBM’s journey of excellence, and the bond shared by the NSBM Community.
In an inspiring address, the Vice Chancellor Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe addressed the gathering to reminisce about the university’s beginnings and share the aspirations for the future. His words carried a sense of pride and gratitude, as he spoke about the lasting impact NSBM has had on the lives of its students and the wider community, while also envisioning even greater contributions that lie ahead in NSBM’s journey.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, the Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa, and Manager – Finance, Ms. Sanuji Ranawaka also shared heartfelt reflections. They honoured the university’s journey, expressing deep appreciation for the commitment and tireless efforts of the Vice Chancellor and the entire NSBM staff that have contributed to NSBM’s continued success.

The event was further illuminated by the presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake. Deans of the five faculties, Heads of the departments/divisions, and both Academic and Non-Academic staff, whose dedication was celebrated with immense gratitude.
