NSBM Green University, through its NSBM for Career and Entrepreneurship (NFORCE) initiative, successfully organized the first-ever Campus2Corporate session tailored for Law undergraduates. It was facilitated by the esteemed Legal Team of Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC, providing students with valuable insights into corporate legal careers.
The session was led by an expert panel of legal professionals, including Mr. Ravindu Peiris, Senior Legal Counsel, and Ms. Ashika Galappatthy, Senior Engagement Manager. They guided the NSBM Law students on the diverse career pathways available in the corporate sector and shared essential advice on preparing for successful legal careers in the corporate environment. Additionally, Ms. Amana Jhan, HR Business Partner – Corporate, conducted an informative session about the organization, offering further insights into the corporate culture.
Following the event, Prof. Shanthi Segarajasingham, Head of the Department of Legal Studies, and the academic staff engaged in a productive discussion with industry experts from Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC, exploring potential mutual collaborations for the future.
