Tech & Thrive, the official launch of the Association of Computer and Data Science, was successfully held on October 02, 2024 at NSBM Green University.

The event featured a Tech Forum with the esteemed presence of Mr. Sampath Thrimavithana, Chief HR Officer of Surge Global, and Mr. Chamika Ramanayaka, Head of AI Platforms at Dialog Axiata PLC, who shared valuable insights on emerging trends in technology, career paths and opportunities in Computer and Data Science, essential skills for success, the application of technology in non-IT fields, and strategies to stay updated in the ever-evolving tech industry. The forum was graced by Prof. Chaminda Wijesinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, along with department heads and faculty lecturers.
