The Student Circle of Accounting and Finance (SCAF) at NSBM Green University proudly concluded “EXODUS’24,” a spectacular celebration of the Annual Accounting Day, at the NSBM Auditorium.
This year’s event, themed “Envisioning Sustainability through the Lens of Accounting and Finance,” was honored by the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Rashmi Pieris, Vice President of CFA Sri Lanka. It was also privileged to welcome distinguished guests of honor: Ms. Ama Wickramarachchi, Mr. Jetha Elvitigala, Ms. Nilasi Perera from Acuity Knowledge Partners, and Ms. Sanuji Ranawaka, Head of Finance at NSBM Green University.
The event was further dignified by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayaka, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Ms. Anne Pathiranage, and other esteemed faculty members.
The highlight of EXODUS’24 was an insightful panel discussion that explored innovative approaches to integrating sustainability within the realms of accounting and finance, featuring eminent personalities from the industry. Additionally, the event marked the launch of the NSBM-DFCC Co-branded debit card, in the presence of dignitaries from DFCC, including Mr. Denwar Lewis, Mr. Kelum Perera, and Mr. Terrance Ethugala. The event was further enlivened by outstanding performances, making it an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
The grand finale of EXODUS competition saw Team Assets emerge victorious, taking home a cash prize of 30,000, demonstrating exceptional skill and talent. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, guests, and faculty members who contributed to the success of EXODUS’24.
