A Friendly Basketball Encounter between the Basketball teams of NSBM Green University and University of Kelaniya was held recently at NSBM Indoor Stadium. The encounter was organized by the Basketball Club of NSBM with the prime intention of providing a platform to enhance the sportsmanship of both teams. 

Securing a competitive victory, the Basketball Club of NSBM recorded a comprehensive 72-49 win over the University of Kelaniya Basketball team. The awarding of trophies and certificates to the players was done by the Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Student Affairs, Ms. AushadarI Kaushalya, Master-in-Charge of Basketball Club, Mr. Thisal Yatawara, Mistress-in-Charge of Basketball Club, Ms. Hasali Rajakaruna and academic staff members of NSBM.
