In a groundbreaking move to support NSBM Alumni in pursuing higher education abroad, the Welfare Association of NSBM Green University has launched a new initiative through its Global Connect Unit, in collaboration with International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd, an overseas educational consultant for study abroad.

To mark this initiative, a formal partnership was established with International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd. The signing ceremony was held on June 12th, 2024, at NSBM Green University. The agreement was signed between Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe, Dean of the NSBM Faculty of Computing / President of the NSBM Welfare Association, and Mr. Keerthi Jayasuriya, Chairman and CEO of International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd. The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business / Secretary of the Welfare Association, Ms. Sanuji Ranawaka, Head of Finance / Treasurer of the Welfare Association, Ms. Lakni Peiris, Lecturer /  MIC of the Global Connect Office, and Mr. R.M.M. Rathnayake, Principal Advisor of International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd.

This partnership signifies a valuable opportunity for NSBM Alumni, providing them with the necessary resources and support to navigate their higher education journeys abroad through the NSBM Global Connect Unit.
