NSBM Green University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with York Hotel Management Services recently at the NSBM Green University premises. 

This mutually beneficial partnership partnership, initiated by NSBM’s Department of Marketing and Tourism, aims to foster knowledge dissemination and skill enhancement among Hospitality Management undergraduates at the university. The MoU also seeks to optimize synergies between the university and industry partners, particularly in entry-level talent acquisition (internship and training) and corporate brand building.

The MoU was signed between Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Green University and Mr. Nishadha Periyapperuma – Director of York Hotel Management Services, in the presence of a bilateral delegation comprising Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Mr Venura Colombage – Head of the Department of Marketing and Tourism, Mr Lasitha De Silva, Lecturer/ Head of Professional Advancement, Mr. Rushdi Hadhi, Manager – NFORCE as the representatives of NSBM, while York Hotel Management Services was represented by Mr. Dhinuka Boralessa – GGM – Operations and Mr. Vimukthi Dassanayake – GGM HR.
