The Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems proudly hosted the installation ceremony of the new board members for its Student Circles of Software Engineering and Information Systems. The ceremony was held on 28th February 2024 at the Faculty of Computing.
In conjunction with the installation ceremony, the Information Systems Students Circle orchestrated a compelling event to foster motivation and networking opportunities for faculty’s undergraduates. The event invited recent alumni of information systems degrees who are currently working as professionals in leading IT industries from LSEG, IFS, One Billion Tech, and Rising Consumer Industries and an academic member of NSBM Faculty of Computing, aiming to groom and ignite inspiration among undergraduate students.
The occasion was graced by the Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe, Head of the Department of Software Engineering & Information Systems, Dr. Mohamed Shafraz, Head of the Department of Computer and Data Science, Mr. Naji Saravanabavan and academic staff of the faculty.
