NSBM Green University and Hemas Consumer Brands signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 8th November 2023 to establish collaboration for university-industry interaction.
The partnership with Hemas Consumer Brands was hosted by the Department of Accounting and Finance, as part of the NSBM Industry Partnership Programme of NSBM for Career and Entrepreneurship (NFORCE) initiative. It primarily focuses on felicitating entry-level career placement, internship, industrial visits, curriculum development and training for NSBM undergraduates.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, signed the MoU on behalf of NSBM Green University whilst Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, Mr. Cheranga Weerawardana signed for Hemas Consumer Brands. It was witnessed by the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms Thilini De Silva and Manager – Career Guidance, Mr. Mohamed Rushdi Hadhi, representing NSBM and from Hemas, Director HR, Ms. Dahami Hewagamage participated in this occasion.
