The two degrees offered by the Department of English and Modern Languages, BA in Business Communication and BSc in Business Communication, are designed to mould undergraduates to serve an industry which incorporates language and communication skills in tasks like content writing, journalism, advertising and marketing and public relations.

In order to provide a wholesome learning experience which includes industrial exposure apart from a sound theoretical background, the department took the students on an industry visit to the News1st Newsroom and Studios on the 7th of June. The visit was successfully completed with the participation of 29 students, and it was accompanied by a few members of Department’s academic staff.
