Bogdan Ghita is an Associate Professor in Computer Networks at Plymouth University and leads the networking area within the Centre for Security, Communications, and Network research (www.cscan.org). His research interests include computer networking and security, focusing on the areas of network performance profiling and optimisation, wireless and mobile networking, and network security, with over 100 publications in these areas. He has been principal investigator or co-investigator in several industry-led, national, and EU funded research projects. He graduated 14 PhD students, over 50 MSc students, and is currently supervising 25 PhD projects. He is the chair of the International Networking Conference (INC) series. Dr Ghita is the Programme manager for the BSc (Hons) Computer Networks and BSc(Hons) Computer Security programmes.
