Profile
Embarking on my academic journey from 2017 to 2022, I, Mr. Chamil H. Gunarathna, My school was D.S.Senanayaka national School in Ampara. I am transitioned from a dynamic undergraduate experience in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. Earning Second Class Honors and securing a place on the Dean’s List during Semesters 7 and 8, my commitment to consistent academic excellence was evident. A highlight of these undergraduate years was presenting my research on “Design and characterization of 3D printed Wave Spring use in a Flexible Robotic Arm” at the prestigious 2022 Moratuwa Engineering Research Conference. Now, venturing into a new academic chapter, I am pursuing an M.Sc. at the University of Moratuwa, with a focused exploration into nanoscale science. This academic pursuit seamlessly aligns with my role as an Executive in Automation at MAS Holdings since July 2022, providing a harmonious blend of academic rigor and practical industry exposure. Enthusiastically anticipating interdisciplinary learning at the University of Moratuwa, I aim to leverage insights gained from my M.Sc. to address real-world challenges in the rapidly evolving technological landscape. As I navigate this exciting juncture, my commitment remains steadfast in contributing meaningfully to the scientific community and embracing the transformative potential that nanotechnology holds for the future.
