Contrary to popular opinion, university parents meeting was organized today, on July 18, 2019, by School of Engineering with the advice from the Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, who has steered the NSBM into new heights of academic excellence.

Dr. Weerasinghe, The Vice-Chancellor of NSBM explains the swift evolution, new standing and what fuels its success in remaining a forerunner in an ever-changing Sri Lankan and International university education. He appeals to the parents to be vigilant of their sons and daughters and to encourage and support them to reach their potential.

Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance Mr. Baratha Dodankotuwa, also mentioned several areas of how NSBM has a commitment to excellence that underpins all campus activities, particularly teaching. NSBM employs an experienced and qualified full-time lecturer panel in all areas.

Deans of the three faculties and other senior academics participated in the event and shared their thoughts and experience. Finally, the dedication and humongous efforts of the lecturers were admired by all parents.
