The Department of Operations and Logistics proudly celebrated the anniversary of its founding on February 24th, 2021. To mark this 4th anniversary, the department’s members gathered for a special event that celebrated its journey— from the challenges faced to the milestones achieved.

 

The occasion was graced by Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Mr. Shaja Musthaffa, Head of the Department of Operations and Logistics, along with the lecturers attached to the department.

 

This anniversary celebration reflected the dedication, hard work, and professionalism of every team member, past and present. Under the exceptional guidance of Mr. Shaja Mustaffa, the Department Head, the path to success has been clearly paved. His leadership has played a crucial role in shaping the department’s growth and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
